Types of Paint Booth
Spray Booths Are Classified Into Three Categories Based On Airflow Direction.
Crossflow Spray Booth
Airflow flows from one end of the booth to the other. This type is low-cost and easy to install. The disadvantage is that the mist moves along the side of the vehicle body, and the mist cannot be removed from around the operator's face, resulting in a less than ideal working environment.
Side-downflow Spray Booth
Air enters the spray booth through a ceiling filter and exits from the side wall. This is a mid-range priced spray booth. Because the mist is kept away from the object and can be removed from around the operator, the painting effect and working environment are both ideal.
Full-downflow Spray Booth
This embodies the most advanced technology available today. Air enters from the ceiling and exits through a pit or basement. This exhaust method provides a cleaner painting process and a safer working environment. However, it is expensive and occupies a large space.
Specifications
The paint shop can be operated for a maximum of 24 hours per day, 260 days/ year, 8 hours/shift and 3shifts/day
The paint shop is be capable of painting an area of ≥1200 square meters per day (3 shifts).
