Robotic Automatic Application designed for plastic parts with primer paint booth, basecoat paint booth, clearcoat paint booth.

Where the majority of the small parts are being painted with Robots by using the Spindle jig.

Where the bigger parts are being painted with Electrostatic Bell application equipment.

Feature And Advantage

 

Windows along booth long sides using safety glass. The glass panels can accommodate the externally mounted light fittings and allow good vision of the painting process from outside the booth.

The Paint Booth to have double header with supply air from Air Supply Unit (ASU) fed into the top of fast header via branch ducts with motorized opposed blade dampers. These dampers are controlled from booth control panel. Airflow into the lower header is also controlled with manual dampers set during commissioning to produce a uniform booth downdraught.

Ceiling filter is provided with full length and width of the paint booth.

The Paint Spray Booth floor consisting of grated panels securely supported, easy for cleaning. Suitably sized floor support beams are positioned for future robot installation and the filter ceiling height is high enough to accommodate robot dimensions and movement.

 

Specifications

 

Extract to be via a stainless steel wet floor scrubber, capable of a paint concentration in the exhaust stack of below 3 mg/Nm3 under production conditions. A centrifugal exhaust fan located on ground floor to have epoxy paint finish, anti spark ring and easy access for cleaning internals. Galvanized sheet metal discharge stack through roof to atmosphere. The stack must be complete with flashing plate, soaker sheet, skirt and stainless steel cable for securing.

Lighting: 4 Tube fluorescent to give 1000 LUX at 1m above booth floor. The light fittings are easily accessible and hinged with chain to hold open position for tube replacement or repair.

Access doors: 1 off aluminium framed doors with glazed panels and door closer, and 1 kick out panel.
